BUSINESS - CANADA
The current Liberal government is best classified as a dictatorship similar to Castro's Cuba, but under a less intelligent, now fading leader, Prime Minister Chretien, who is remarkable mainly for his skillful but sleazy political instincts and the fact he speaks both of Canada's two official languages worse than most of the refugees and terrorists who seem to be the fastest-growing group of people in the country. Business is hampered by the creation of an uneven playing field, with the government giving preferences on an undefined basis.

What types of business have good prospects in the present economic climate?
Real estate. A Canadian favorite, and still one of the best ways to make money and at least keep even after the constant devaluation is taken in to account. Land development, construction, holding and renting, etc.

The very real possibility of exponential growth in bio-fuel demand, created by intensifying environmental interest combined with US demand through legislation already in place in that country, makes this the "Best New Business Idea" as voted by the ASEE.
